A Skeptical M.D.
"I am, by training, an MD as well as an ND (naturopath), having begun my medical studies in Germany and completed them in the US. Everything I was ever taught in science told me that silver, being a heavy metal, was toxic to biological systems.
Believing this adamantly I was absolutely against any discussion about ionic/colloidal silver, I believed what I had been taught - that silver, no matter what form it might be in - was toxic and dangerous. I received some information in the mail about American Biotech Labs products, including colloidal silver, but instead of following my first instinct, to discard it, I read it, then read it again and again, perhaps ten times, and each time it seemed to make more sense.
I got more literature on it from the company, then decided to try it myself before I would ever recommend it to anyone else. I was stunned with the results. We practice very proactive nutritional and detoxification health care and have the absolute best, more pure, most potent immune enhancing agents available anywhere, yet this product was even better than what we were using for chronic and resistant infections of a bacterial nature. I suspect that it helps with viral infections, as well, but I have not read enough of the research to be able to verify that, it is only my clinical observation thus far.
Based on this, I now use and freely dispense this product to my patients with excellent results. The only requirement is to determine that it is appropriate to their unique needs and make certain they use it strictly according to the manufacturer's recommendations.
Respectfully yours,
James R. Bowman, MD, ND, NHC, DCP, FAAIM JRB/mp, Wisconsin"
"No other health care product or supplements, of any type has ever impressed me as much as have the American Biotech Labs products. With the amount of clinical research performed, both in the laboratory and the human clinical trial results, no other product will have such impact or benefit as these."

Public health officials, hospitals and law-makers still argue over the best way to deal with the nationwide outbreak of MRSA. MRSA is a drug-resistant superbug that cost the Annapolis woman her legs and may be killing more than 19,000 people a year across the USA.
The number of MRSA infections is growing and the government may force hospitals to take more drastic actions to control this superbug.
Advocates of more action are afraid the defeat of two MRSA bills in Annapolis will make hospital and nursing home patients more vulnerable to the MRSA pathogen.
"It doesn't make any sense. The data, the science, the evidence, everything we know about this says that we have to act now," said Michael Bennett, director of the Coalition for Patients Rights. He fights for corrective legislation for MRSA in Maryland and has been doing this for the past three years.
Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA)
is a bacterium that can live harmlessly in the skin or nasal cavities but attacks wounds and causes life-threatening infections, including pneumonia and blood poisoning.Over the past 15 years, it has evolved into a
superbug
that resists the most common antibiotics rendering them practically useless. In Chicago, surveys of hospitals has shown 10 percent of patients are positive for MRSA when they're admitted. The federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has found at least 12 types of MRSA, including a new variant that can spread in gyms, locker rooms and community settings.

CDC researchers estimate that MRSA could kill more than 19,000 people a year in the United States in the Journal of the American Medical Association. The study reported that Baltimore has the highest infection rate of the nine regions studied - observant experts note that Baltimore was also the most urbanized region in the study.
The 8,987 cases of invasive MRSA that CDC discovered translates into 31.8 cases per 100,000 people. That is about twice as high as the previous estimate, with infection rates highest among people older than 65 (127.7 per 100,000) and African-Americans (66.5 per 100,000). Of those infected, almost 1,600 died, about 18 percent.
"It's staggering how much MRSA there is, and it's indefensible to not do anything," said Dr. Carlene Muto, an infectious disease specialist at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. "Not everyone is going to do it because it's the right thing to do."
New Jersey, New York and the Department of Veterans Affairs has begun requiring hospitals to test patients for MRSA when they're admitted. Pennsylvania and Illinois have begun testing high-risk patients such as those previously hospitalized or cared for in nursing homes. Connecticut has also introduced legislation that would require hospitals to test high-risk patients.
"I'm just shocked, befuddled and dismayed at the duplicity of the health care leadership and how they're responding to this crisis," said Bennett.
State health officials also say that they are taking steps to eradicate MRSA - and that the best safeguards are still evolving.

Some experts argue that the problem is too complicated for a state law's "one-size-fits-all" approach. MRSA might be a serious threat in some hospitals, but universal testing would waste resources at facilities where infections are rare and could "hamstring efforts" to tailor better solutions, said Kathy Warye, chief executive officer of the Association for Professionals in Infection Control & Epidemiology, which represents 12,000 infection-control experts.
"I think what all the experts are recognizing is that there's no single silver bullet approach to this problem," said Dr. John Jernigan, the CDC's chief expert on hospital-acquired MRSA.
What all this means is that each one of us needs to take care of this problem for ourselves until bureaucratic and political lunacy are overwhelmed by emergencies.
One of the best solutions to the crisis is the New Silver Solution distributed by Nutronix International which kills and controls MRSA within minutes both on hard surfaces and in our bodies and bloodstreams. It is a must-have product for every home and should be used as a first-line of defense against MRSA and other pathogens.
