Alkalizing for Health
In a perfect world, each of us would live long productive lives well beyond 200 years old. In a perfect body, we would monitor our body's alkalinity level like a hawk. The optimum pH level for the human body is 7.4. People who are suffering from severe chronic diseases almost always have pH levels of below 5.0. The healthiest people always have pH levels of 7.4 to 8.8.
Most people think of pH in relation to their swimming pools or fish tanks and they work to keep their pH balance - for the health of their fish and to keep their swimming pool water safe to swim in. It is amazing to this writer however, that most people pay no attention to their own body fluid pH levels. We go to physicians who test for cholesterol levels (HDL, LDL) and a host of other tests to try to analyze problems that patients go to them for. I have never been to a doctor who wished to measure the pH levels of my body fluids.
This, despite the overwhelming accumulation of evidence that tells us that pH is the most important measure of human and mammalian immune system health of all the tests we take. The facts are simple: Our immune system has great difficulty in telling the difference between deadly pathogens and harmless pathogens when the pH of our body fluids falls below 5.5.
When the pH levels in our body fluids reaches 7.4 or above, our immune system begins working properly again so that it can attack the deadly pathogens that enter our bodies before they can multiply and divide and cause chronic illnesses.
We all have heard that our bodies are made of 70% water and that is true. It is important to maintain the optimum pH of that water to increase our potential longevity to its utmost.
Just as whales in the sea can live more than 200 years in seawater that has a pH of 7.8 if left alone, we too can live much healthier and longer lives by maintaining a 7.4 pH all our lives. So how do we do that?
We must eliminate sodas,colas and energy drinks of all kinds from our diets. We must eliminate all fried foods and all saturated fats from our diets. We must eliminate artificial sweeteners from our foods. The list could go on but these are the primary culprits. The damage each of us has done to our bodies is evident in the primary causes of death in the United States and other industrialized countries who follow in our footsteps.
We cannot undo the past but we can control the damage already done and give our body's immune system the chance it needs to restore better health to our bodies by making sure the pH in our bodies remains at 7.4 by measuring it daily and by eating foods and drinking fluids that will restore our pH levels to optimum levels.

Just wanted to say that cellfood silica worked better than I thought on my energy levels and and my knee arthritis condition -building cartilege.
